Design Thinking workshop at Udhyami Seed Camp

On Friday, 3rd November, Anjan Shrestha (anjhero) and Rakesh Pradhan conducted a Design Thinking workshop for the 2nd batch of Udhyami Seed Camp. During the workshop, Anjan took the participants through the five stages of Design Thinking process followed by different activities to help them understand the concept behind the steps. Workshop on the Role of Open Contracting Partnership

A workshop on The Role of Open Contracting Partnership (OCP) in the development and promotion of Open Contracting in Nepal was conducted at YoungInnovations on 7th November. Veronica Cretu and Nicolae Cretu of the Open Government Institute facilitated the workshop. The workshop saw civil society, government officials, IT practitioners talk about the existing progress and opportunities on open contracting initiatives in Nepal.

Training session on Data Collection of Children at Risk

Prashant Shrestha attended a training session on data collection of Children at Risk at three wards in three municipalities of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Kritipur on 9th November. The pilot project is being implemented by these municipalities with technical assistance from CWIN. YoungInnovations has been providing technological support. The pilot project aims to collect important data on Children who are at risk at these wards, so that appropriate programs can be developed in the future.
