Young Innovations weekly #18 — Ncell App Camp Finale and Docker SLW and moving to Medium

This week we had the grand finale of Ncell App Camp. Ncell App Camp is the biggest Mobile App Competition in Nepal. The four-month long journey of Ncell App Camp concluded on December 22nd. We had the final pitching by the 24 finalists on December 21st and the Winner announcement was done on December 22nd.

The team Unnamed (VR) was declared the winner in the Games and Entertainment Category as well as the Grand Winner. You can find more information about the event at the Ncell App Camp Website.

We also had a Skill Learning Wednesday (SLW) on docker which was conducted by Sudeep. The objective of the SLW was to give our developers an insight into workings of Docker and how they can implement Docker in their development workflow. The second session of the Docker SLW is to be done next week.
This week was also the birthday of our very own Sumit Chhetri. We would like to wish him a very happy birthday.
And finally, we have completed our migration to Medium. We had some issues with the configuration of the CNAME records to use our custom domain (blog.yipl.com.np). However, the Medium support team were very helpful in resolving the issue. If you are interested in using a custom domain for your medium publication, you can follow this helpful article.
We would also like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year 2016.
